Our client is a private equity real estate fund management company with a team
of experienced professionals working throughout Asia and Europe to identify
and secure the best investment opportunities.
Their hands-on approach to investment management enables them to extract full value from every asset and maximise investment returns. They are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Hong Kong
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the corporate accounting functions, including monthly management reporting, annual budgeting, cash flow forecast, treasury planning and rebilling.
Oversees the quarter-end reporting for real estate funds under management with equity commitment of close to 1 bil US
Oversees the capital call and distribution process for the real estate funds under management.
Oversees the project accounting team, including monthly asset level FS review and quarterly consolidation.
Manage real estate financing, including negotiation with PRC banks on project level loans.
Review quarterly consolidated project cash flows and advise on capital requirements / repatriation.
Cultivate good working relationship with PRC partners.
Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS / KEY KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
Qualified accountant with 8+ years experience
Fluency in English and Mandarin
Previous private equity experience and property experience highly regarded
PRC experience extremely desirable
Experience in managing corporate accounting highly regarded
Ability to lead and give clear instructions to staff under management
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
