Responsibilities • Negotiate business requirements with Front Office and Operations in close coordination with the group's Director • Manage team priorities and resources • Balance short and long term development goals and timelines, responding to business requests for both immediate support needs and enhanced functionality across multiple proprietary applications • Direct development on projects focused on front office tools, reconciliations, pricing and analytics • Such other duties as the company or it representatives reasonably may specify from time to time Job Requirements • Previous direct management experience in a software development team within a financial institution • Excellent project management and communication skills and ability to operate autonomously • Strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science • Proven record of job stability and commitment within jobs and projects • A minimum of 5 years experience as a JAVA developer • Experience in pricing and analytics development strongly preferred
