Assume a senior DBA role in support of the MS SQL server/Sybase/DB2 database environments.

Description:

-Assume a senior DBA role in support of the MS SQL Server /Sybase/DB2 database environments. Skilled with MS SQL is a must with more of the above platforms a plus.
-Database production support, stored procedures, troubleshooting, system sizing, system integration, upgrades, platform migration, and monitoring.
-Proactively foster best practices with development groups and other users.
-Work with developers to identify and resolve potential production impacting issues.
-Participation in 24X7 DBA on-call rotation
-Skilled with replication technology
-Ability to perform operational procedures and maintain records

Qualifications:

-7 years of Database administration & replication experience
-Ability to develop and test production utilities
-Effective interpersonal and time management skills
-The ability to communicate issues and work in a team oriented environment toward their resolution is critical to the success of this position 24x7 operations support experience
