Investment Banking Operations: IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimized and that the client experience is a pleasant one. Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively. It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

Job Description: Responsibilities include · Responsible for resolution of issues prior to Beijing processing breaks. · Responsible for reviewing and analyzing breaks on all listed exchanges. · Solving issues for all aspects of the Listed Break Area in the US and Mumbai. · Architect of implementing enhancements in the P&S Web. · Controlling and resolution of all open CNS Breaks. · Interfaces with the NYSE, ASE, Regional, and NASD Exchanges. · Interfaces with Prime Broker Representatives. · Interfaces with all Trade Support and Arbitrage support groups. · Interfaces with our correspondents. · Resolution of Aged open transactions. · Interfaces and meets with Programmers and eSpear System annalists. · Meets monthly at SIFMA with the Data Management of Wall Streets Operations Committee. · Interfaces with the Compliance Department. · Meets with our internal and KPMG Auditors. · Oversee process and Benchmarks for the DBOI Team. · Knowledge of Stock Record. · Knowledge of the OCS, IDCE, ACT, SIAC, and RTTM Systems · Knowledge of Broadridge/ADP systems · Knowledge of the DB eSpear systems

Skills Required: · 7+ year experience and a degree in finance/accounting with relevant internship experience. · Financial services background or Finance degree. · Good IT skills, such as Windows XP and Microsoft Word and Excel · Motivated and Positive · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Thoroughness and attention to detail · Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment · Ability to work in a team environment in order to achieve group targets · Taking ownership for tasks and following through to completion · Excellent organizational skills · Ability to work under tight deadlines · Accountability, responsibility, solution and delivery focused · Ability to interact successfully and build strong working relationships with various internal and external groups on a daily basis (Middle Office, Legal, Credit)
