The Challenge
Responsible for the smooth and timely implementation of new fund accounts into operation. They should liaise with multiple departments and external contacts to co-ordinate all aspects of setting up new business within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Review offering documentation. Review and discuss Fund documentation and any issues noted by staff during review meetings and ensure their understanding of the structure and servicing of the new fund.
Liaise with Technical Support and Client Account Representatives to ensure technical initiatives are addressed and both external and internal operating accounts are opened and activated prior to launch.
Organise and lead operational meetings with staff, clients and legal counsel, if necessary, to review fund documentation, operating procedures, spreadsheets and procedures regarding launch and on-going servicing. Identify any unusual or complex issues related to servicing the fund that may need to be addressed and resolved.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a business degree with at least three years experience in the Funds industry & detailed knowledge of investment accounting, investment valuations, custody services and investor services.
