Top Hedge Fund in New York City is searching for a seasoned compliance officer to join the legal/compliance group. The role will work directly with the Chief Compliance Officer. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years plus experience in asset management compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior compliance professional to join a top hedge fund as the Deputy Compliance Officer. Candidates applying must have had exposure to all basic areas of Investment Management Compliance. This will include trade monitoring, Form ADV - all other required filings, drafting policies and procedures, employee manuals, Code of Ethics, employee training, Chinese wall and helping with regulatory advice internally and to the business. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of compliance experience and be a team player with a strong work ethic. JDs are preferred but not required. Salary is very competitive.
