Our client is supplying secure, standardised messaging services and interface software to financial institutions, spread all over the world. Their members include banks, broker-dealers and investment managers. The broader community also encompasses corporates as well as market infrastructures in payments, securities, treasury and trade.
Key tasks will mainly include monthly accounting of the company Group fixed assets transactions and depreciations, related controlling activities and compliance with IFRS accounting standards.

Your responsibilities will be to : - Ensure accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets transactions and depreciations for the company Group and verify compliance with internal procedures and accounting rules. - Reconcile account balances on a monthly basis. - Organise yearly physical inventory checks and perform controls of fixed assets existence. - Ensure accurate and timely accounting of commissions and suppliers royalties and verify the compliance with internal procedures and accounting rules. - Reconcile account balances on a regular basis. - Perform year end closing activities on fixed assets, commissions and royalties and prepare disclosures required under IFRS standards. - Ensure IAS/IFRS compliance of accounting treatment of the company Group's investment, rental and development contracts including preparation of accounting treatment proposal and validation with external auditors. - Maintain contacts with relevant internal and external parties in order to answer queries, gather information and resolve pending issues.
Profile:
- Accounting graduate or university degree. - The ideal candidate will have an experience of 5 to 7 years in a financial position in an international environment, of which at least 3 years as fixed assets specialist. - Good planning and organisational skills, good communication and presentation skills,team spirit. - Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting standards. - Fluent in English and in either French or Dutch. - Selected supporting skills (not displayed but used for pre-screening): Gathering and analysing info, initiative, planning & organising, quality orientation.
