Are you looking for a challenging Operational Risk role with one of New Zealand's premier financial services organisations? As a result of the ASB's growth and the increasingly complex operational risk environment in New Zealand and internationally; we are currently looking for Operational Risk talent at the Manager and Specialist level. As an Operational Risk Manager you will manage the relationship between business units and Operational Risk, ensuring their operational risks are clearly understood, communicated and tightly managed with the appropriate controls. It's an excellent opportunity to take a lead role in adding value, taking ownership and building close working relationships with the business units; leveraging their skills and resources to manage their risk assurance requirements effectively and efficiently. At the Specialist level, you will play an integral part in the implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) into ASB Group Business Units ensuring that key risks are identified, assessed and effectively managed. Here you will ensure the integrity of the ORMF through oversight and monitoring, acting as a specialist source of operational risk knowledge that Business Units can leverage from. In order to be successful in the Operational Risk arena at ASB, you will have at least 3-5 years of Operational Risk experience, preferably within a financial services organisation, strong relationship building skills, highly developed communication skills in a written and oral capacity, tertiary qualifications from a commercial discipline, and strong analytical and problem solving ability.
