Global hedge fund/private equity fund seeks an IT Business Analyst/PM.

HEDGE FUND - Financial - IT Business Analyst / Project Manager

Looking for 5-10 years experience in the financial industry as a business analyst and/or project manager.

Duties: Work as an interface between the business users and the IT developers. Interact with the business users, analyze business workflows, identify process improvements, define requirements for new solutions, translate those requirements into specifications for our development staff. You will assist in project management of these development projects, maintaining project plans, keeping sponsor communications, submitting project status reports, doing QA testing of systems and solutions, assisting with User Acceptance testing, following up on user change requests, assist in user level documentation, training manuals, user training. Create test plans and test cases, execute quality assurance testing.

Must be highly organized. Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects, multi-task, prioritize. Very strong communication skills. Process oriented. Strong project management skills.

Excellent market knowledge. 3+ years experience in markets, either on a trading desk or in operations or equivalent. Understand liquid markets trading, trade lifecycles, and market products.

Excellent computer skills. MS Office a must. MS Project, MS Visio, MS Sharepoint, C#, .Net, Excel VBA all a plus. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

BS or higher in engineering, computer science, finance or related fields. MBA or higher applicable degrees a plus.
