Large international investment bank, with a major presence in Hong Kong and growth aspirations in the region, is looking to recruit a Head of Securities Services Operations.
The jobholder will be required oversee the entire operations of the department and to make suggestions and recommendations to the Head of Operations to improve efficiency. Additionally the jobholder will be required to ensure that sound internal controls are in place as well as to act as coordinator between Security Services Operations and other departments in matters relating to securities settlement and nominee services. The incumbent will also need to ensure that the stock records held by CCASS and vault corresponds at all times with the Banks records and to act as a back-up for systems related issues and also for approving all CCASS transactions. The jobholder will be responsible for handling of enquiries from external parties such as HKMA and SFC and also for preparing and monitoring annual budget according to the internal guidelines and to plan, monitor and conduct system implementation and upgrade. Finally you will need to undertake ad-hoc assignments assigned by Head of Operations and Support Division and provide high quality services to internal / external clients on daily activities.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Have a minimum of 10 years of working experience in Securities field, preferably in nominee services and settlements and have at least 5 years managerial experience. • Be familiar with CCASS and other settlement system operations. • Have good interpersonal and communication skills. • Be proficient in MS Office.
