A global banking group seeks a Head of Product Control to take responsibility for the operation of the product control function supporting the New Zealand markets business within Corporate and Institutional Banking.
Reporting to the Global Head of Product Control you will have responsibility for:
Production of the markets daily P&L and Balance Sheet
Comprehensive P&L analysis including risk positions, realised and unrealised P&L components etc
Understanding and reporting Balance Sheet capital usage
New Zealand markets commentary at the end of each month
New Zealand markets regulatory and external reporting
Interface with market risk, finance and front office
Experience required:
Qualified Accountant with minimum 8 years experience in a product control function with a major bank
Leadership and development of an experienced and high performing team
A very good understanding of financial instruments with highly developed numerical and analytical skills
Preparing, delivering and facilitating presentations across the business
Strong communication skills
