Marketing Communications team at Lazard Asset Management seeks Marketing Professional to develop the language and materials to describe/explain, sell, and service assigned investment strategies; establish guidelines for new strategies and continuously monitor and update all related materials.
Essential Functions:· Work with management, specific PM teams and appropriate Marketing channels to develop the language and materials to describe/explain, sell, and service assigned investment strategies; establish guidelines for new strategies and continuously monitor and update all related materials. · Create and maintain these new business and client service “collections” in the firm’s presentation system (Marketing Studio.) · Create and validate production of quarterly marketing materials (e.g., quarterly product profiles, mutual fund fact sheets, etc.) · Troubleshooting relevant issues that arise in the process of expected material completion. · As technical skills and knowledge develops serve as the “knowledge source” for assigned strategies working to build back-up capability and bench strength. · Coordinate with RFP and Consultant Database teams to ensure consistent communication and approach for all platform investment strategies. · Effectively project manage the timely completion of all expected deliverables.
Desired Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; progress toward advanced degree/qualification (e.g., MBA, CFA) helpful. · Significant relevant experience (3+ years) at an investment management firm. · Solid understanding of traditional strategies or a demonstrated ability to learn particular strategies quickly if not specifically experienced. · Strong analytical ability (i.e., capacity to understand inner workings of sophisticated investment strategies, explain them simply, and spot inconsistencies/errors in language and data used to represent them). · Skilled in various performance analytics and possessing a strong ability to apply this knowledge specifically and generally to materials · Ability to multi-task under tight time constraints and keen ability to track and report on progress. · Takes initiative; team player; detail oriented
Required Skills/Working Knowledge of: · Sound written and verbal communications skills and comfort engaging various levels of firm management. · Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). · Proficiency with electronic data services (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet). · Foreign language skills (a plus, not required).
