Description:

Due to significantly increased demand for our real-time and closing market data in a variety of financial instruments, we are seeking a Financial Data Engineer that has an instinctive attention to detail, is well organized and has excellent communication skills. Must have 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis and/or research role in the financial industry, and must be comfortable working with numbers while tracking market data. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality, building and maintaining spreadsheets, reviewing data capturing, closing market data prices, building spreadsheets containing analytics, and managing new issues/corporate action changes. You must have excellent computer skills and be able to complete projects under deadlines. The proactive self starter will thrive in Moody's Credit Quotes fast-growing financial services environment.

Qualifications:

- 3 years of fixed income experience in a financial technology role
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Financial Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
- Knowledge of CDS, Bonds, Convertibles Interest Rates
- Impeccable Excel skills
- At least 1 year of hands-on usage of an Excel analytics package (Numerix, Fincad, Quantifi, or other)
- Self-driven

Desirable Qualifications:

Master's degree, preferably in Financial Engineering
Trading desk and trading support experience
Knowledge of SQL

- Technical Support who's willing to support and/or debug any component of the System.
- Good financial background especially in fixed income derivatives desired.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to multitask and re-prioritize tasks when need be
