The corporate finance practice of a Big 4 CA firm provides merger and aquisition, lead advisory, valuation in business and strategic advisory services for a dedicated nationwide team. Their client base is extensive featuring many of the country’s top businesses together with major international companies.

Due to continued growth and success they are now seeking to fill two key Auckland based positions in their Corporate Finance team which is New Zealand’s market leader. Within this wider team is a core group whose primary focus is on mergers, acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings.

Associate Director – M&A

The M&A Associate Director is likely to have:

A demonstrable track record in securing and executing M&A mandates

An existing network of business contacts/clients

Strong relationship skills

A desire to play an important role in driving their M&A practice forward

Associate Director - Valuations

The Valuations Associate Director will work closely with the M&A team and will have full responsibility for the transactions and due diligence process. The ideal candidate will have:

At least six years finance-related experience preferably in a corporate finance or investment banking environment.

Prior involvement in due diligence and transaction support

A well developed analytical mind with strong valuation skills

Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
