Position Description:
Senior QA professional responsible for the overall coordination of front to back testing for complex messaging based repo architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance, formalize and automate QA procedures for the above environment
Assist in the diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of technical and business processing issues within the UAT environment
Drive application and adoption of QA automation tools such as QTP, Mercury Quality Center, etc
Follow SDLC+ development methodology and best practice
Qualifications
Experience and Skills Required/Desired: Required Work Experience:
7+ years experience with QA process
5+ years experience development for front or back office investment banking trading systems Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of QA process and automation techniques
Strong troubleshooting knowledge on unix and windows platform, including messaging middleware
Strong working knowledge large front office trading systems
Working knowledge of messaging infrastructure, ideally MQ Series and EMS
Working SQL, ideally in both Oracle and Sybase platforms
Ability to coordinate across teams and across locations/timezones Desirable Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
