Sales calls will be made to high net worth and institutional investors, financial institutions, and hedge fund professionals. You will have significant exposure to the hedge fund and private equity industry. You will develop and execute compelling sales presentations and proposals that lead to the successful closing of deals.
Responsibilities: • Conduct extensive marketing campaigns targeting potential new institutional investors and high net worth individuals. • Research potential investors, understand investment style, and sell the firms’ products & principals. • Liaise and negotiate with potential investors to build relationships that will lead to growth of assets under management. • Coordinate and prepare presentation and marketing material. • Attend prospect and client meetings
Requirements: • Two plus years in a Sales/Marketing role preferably for a hedge fund, fund of funds, consulting firm or capital introductions group. • A proven track record of success in sales, extensive prospecting experience, comfortable speaking in front of an audience (presenting to investors), and knowledge of the financial markets. • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics or related field. • A polished professional with superior phone and communication skills. • Absolutely zero cold calling reluctance. • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude.
Salary: Base + commission -- very flexible and extremely competitive.
