Job background:

Partnership (Expansion Markets) is a division of UK Consumer Bank (CitiCards) focussing on developing partnerships (currently just with credit cards) with a view to increasing Citi credit card market share in the UK. Existing programmes in the UK include Shell, bmibaby, Audi, American Airlines and now easyJet

Job purpose:

Management and development of relationship between Citi and easyJet, to drive profitable account growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of relationship between Citi and easyJet
  • Drive account acquisition to ensure targets are met.
  • Drive profitability of relationship through specific campaigns working with ECM
  • Manage internal and external relationships across business unit functions to ensure timely and cost effective programme running and development and implementation of enhancements to CVP where necessary
  • Be the day to day conduit for partnership activities or issues and the first point of contact for the partner
  • Maintain standard reporting to partner
  • Responsibility for P& L for the easyJet partnership
  • Development value:

  • Exposure to valued clients – representing the professional view of Citi to external organisations
  • Operational knowledge of all areas, from customer experience touchpoints to back office functionality
  • Knowledge of the credit card product and the profitability triggers for a partnership account for Citi.
  • Skills

    Knowledge/ experience:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to partners at senior level
  • Team player
  • Understanding of credit card markets (desirable)
  • Understanding of Citi procedures (desirable)
  • Skills:

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self disciplined, organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • Able to work to tight deadlines, maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Organisational ability
  • Ability to work well with others, a team player who drives solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of standard desktop software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Competencies:

  • Proven account management (2+ years)
  • Effective partner communication skills
  • Strong presentation writing and delivery
  • Good under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate issues with partner
  • Driving deeper relationships throughout easyJet
  • Focus on multiple tasks through superior project management
