Our client is the very rapidly expanding financial division of a Fortune 100 company, and offers customized solutions in the market for business-to-business financial solutions.
We are currently looking for a Team Leader to lead the underwriting activities for the company’s Industrial leasing business.
The Team Leader will responsible for training, coaching, and managing a team of analysts in the underwriting of industrial leasing transactions and processing leasing auto-decision transactions.
He or she will also have the following responsibilities:
Manage a small team of underwriters.
Screen new industrial vendor program opportunities presented by sales.
Complete due diligence of new vendor opportunities.
Team with other departments (Accounting, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Tax) to structure vendor program agreements.
Manage risk decisioning within approved Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”).
Underwrite vendor-sourced transactions.
Manage portfolio for vendor-based transactions, including identifying and addressing transactions requiring restructure and amendment.
Review vendors and transactions as needed.
Train and coach underwriters in analyzing transactions sourced from vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates must have the following:
Minimum ten years of experience as a general analyst.
Minimum five years of experience and knowledge of vendor programs and auto-decision programs and processes.
Minimum five years of experience in Industrial segment utilizing an auto-decision system.
Strong management capabilities and project leadership skills.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
