Growing Australian financial sponsors franchise
Despite challenging market conditions, a leading International Investment Bank is looking to build its leveraged finance offering in Sydney through making an additional hire to their team at Associate/Associate Director level.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the continued success of the team in servicing its local and global private equity client base.
Responsibilities:
building strong relationships with sponsors
originating, advising on, and structuring LBO transactions
Qualifications:
a minimum 5-6 years experience in Institutional or Investment Banking, with a minimum 2-3 years in an origination team in leveraged or acquisition finance
solid execution and deal experience, with exposure to the origination, negotiation and closing of transactions
outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills
well developed credit analysis and structuring skills
will suit candidates with existing experience in the Australasian market or Australians seeking to return from Asia, London or New York
