• Developing compelling user interfaces and tools to integrate and access Bloomberg data directly into Microsoft Excel.

• Continuing to lead the market by providing the most easy to use APIs and SDKs to access market data – including real time streams and historical time series.

• Ensuring our desktop API products can be reliably deployed and run efficiently on our 250,000+ customers’ Windows desktops – supporting multiple operating systems (Windows 2000 thru Windows Vista) and all languages / locales.

The desktop API products utilize scalable robust service oriented architectures, involving web services, .NET (C#), C++, IPC mechanisms, virtualization, Windows platform technologies and integration and management tools. Additionally, senior engineers will serve as technical experts and consultants to other groups on Windows and .NET technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years designing and building successful Windows products.

• Strong OOD/OOP skills, and experience applying modern design patterns.

• Experience with .NET architecture (CLR, GC, and C# programming).

• Experience with Web Services and multi-tier distributed systems.

• Experience with high-performance multi-threading in Win32 and .NET.

• Working knowledge of MFC, ATL, STL and COM technologies.

• Ability to estimate, plan, lead and execute complex technical projects.
