Top tier investment bank seeks EXPERIENCED Quantitative Strategist for Securitized Products Trading Desk. Candidates must have an advanced degree in a hard science from a top university and at least 4 years of experience working on a trading desk in a similar group. Responsibilities include creating models and strategies to drive trading decisions. The candidate must have excellent communication and marketing skills in order to sell the ideas to the traders and to interact with clients. On a daily basis, the candidate will be building models, writing code and then marketing the information to the traders. Knowledge of the securitization business is essential. Experience in mortgage related products preferred. Excellent compensation. NY location.
