Due to significant growth we are seeking Audit Senior Accountants to join our team in Brisbane.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and scoping of engagements, select audit team members and conduct audit assignments
Develop and translate the audit strategy into effective audit procedures
Effective management of audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
Liaising directly with clients to identify and resolve issues and be involved in report writing and the identification of key risk areas
Lead audit assignments with a focus on monitoring and guiding your team
Qualifications/Experience:
Academic qualification – Degree qualified
Professional qualification – CA (or equivalent international qualification) preferably first time passes
Demonstrate industry skill through the knowledge of current business drivers and the accounting/taxation issues which relate to a particular sector
Ability to identify areas of risk and direct effort appropriately to the different levels of risk
Relationship management skills with ability to manage client expectations
Ability to demonstrate initiative, team leadership and client service skills whilst possessing sound technical skills and a keen eye for detail
Communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
