The successful candidate has the primary responsibility to assist the business liaison in gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Confer with business liaison regarding the problem to be resolved and/or the type of data to be processed.
Analyze the problem/project in terms of systems requirements.
Development of functional and/or design specifications.
Join program development team.
Prepare the appropriate documents necessary to effect changes or modifications to the system.
Develop test plans and participate in system design and user testing.
Assist in the implementation of software modules.
Train system users, assist and guide junior staff members. Technical knowledge/skills requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
5+ Years experience in programming in a Client/Server or Web environment (JAVA/Relational Database, SQL).
Experience with Securities Processing systems
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Expertise in developing System, Work-Flow and Process Use Case Diagrams and documents
