Top Tier Investment bank seeks an experience commodities controller to support an expanding physical oil-trading desk.

|
Responsibilities:
- Production of Daily P&L, including resolution of all front office queries.
- Assist the trading desk in business-related matters
- Act in an advisory capacity for key functional support area(s)
- New Product Approval process
- Liaising with Sales, Risk, Trade Support, Operations, IT
- Ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred
- 3-5 years total Accounting / product control / middle office experience in the US oil, gas and power markets.
- Knowledge of different US GAAP accounting requirements impacting energy products preferred.
- Sound understanding of the structure and valuation of North American commodities products.
- Good communication
- Strong technical aptitude
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Excel
