Our client is a well-known investment bank with an Asia Pacific regional office in Hong Kong. They are currently seeking for an outstanding individual to join their team as Sales Assistant to support their Equity Derivative Product Sales.
Based in Hong Kong, you will provide middle office support functions for the Equity Structured & Derivatives businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Your scopes of responsibilities include processing, reconciliation & checking of daily trades, analysis of booking issues for new and existing products as they arise as well as resolving ad hoc queries from the trading desk on P&L and risk issues. You will have extensive liaison with internal parties such as Product Control and Traders on booking of new trades, p&l issues, monitoring risk level, new products queries, set-up procedures and different kinds of settlement issues. Other duties include handling clients’ enquiries on settlement issues and dealing with requests on new products.
To be considered, you will be a degree holder with a minimum of 3 years of experience gained in the sales/trading environment in investment banks or financial institutions. You need to be familiar with equities and equities derivative products. Trading Floor or Middle Office Experience preferred. Fluency in English is an essential.
